Illusions Dissolved Mental Health and Wellness, PLLC provides telehealth psychiatric services, including psychiatric assessment, medication management, and supportive psychotherapy, delivered by Shela A. West, PMHNP-BC.

This website and our services are not intended for medical emergencies. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department. You can also reach the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline by calling or texting 988, or text HOME to 741741 to connect with the Crisis Text Line.

You must be at least 18 years old or be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Services are available to individuals located in states where the provider is licensed at the time of the appointment. The provider reserves the right to decline or discontinue care when your needs fall outside the scope of this practice, and will offer appropriate referrals when possible.

Appointments are scheduled through our patient portal or our verified Grow Therapy listing. We ask for at least 24 hours' notice to change or cancel an appointment. A $50 cancellation or no-show fee may be charged to the payment method on file for late cancellations or missed appointments, as outlined when you book.

Payment is processed securely through Stripe. By booking, you authorize us to charge your payment method for agreed session fees and any applicable cancellation or no-show fees. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.

You acknowledge that telehealth services are delivered by video rather than in person, and that telehealth has potential benefits and limitations, including the possibility of technology failures. You may request an in-person referral or withdraw telehealth consent at any time without affecting your right to future care.

You agree to provide accurate and complete information, attend sessions from a private, safe location, and ensure a reliable device and internet connection. You are responsible for any costs associated with your own telecommunications services.

All content on this website — including text, graphics, and logos — is owned by or licensed to Illusions Dissolved and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute it without our prior written permission.

You agree not to misuse this website, attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of it, or use it to harass, harm, or impersonate others. We may restrict access at our discretion.

This site may link to third-party services such as Grow Therapy and our telehealth and payment providers. We are not responsible for the content, practices, or availability of those external sites.

The information provided is for general educational purposes only. To the fullest extent permitted by law, this website is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind, and no provider–patient relationship is created by its use alone.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Illusions Dissolved shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website or reliance on its content.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in North Carolina.

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page. Continued use of the site or services after changes indicates acceptance.
